Clinical Hypnosis

What is Clinical Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a technique used to induce a state of relaxation in the user similar to sleep, but without losing consciousness. This therapy is highly useful for consciously addressing past problems that have become deeply rooted in our unconscious and cause us distress, even when we are unaware of what they are.

One of the phrases I hear most often in my practice is: "I didn't even remember that! How could it have been affecting me so much?" This is common when you go to release emotions that are causing nervousness, anxiety, depression, and other nervous system disorders.

What is hypnosis used for?

As a therapist, I use hypnosis in my practice to help people accept past situations by releasing emotions, traumas, phobias, fears... It is a highly effective technique for uncovering the root cause of certain emotional problems that we sometimes think are caused by one thing, but are actually a distraction created by our unconscious at a conscious level as a form of "protection."

Many people ask me or request whether I perform regression hypnosis. The answer is YES. However, I do not perform regressions without a specific purpose. What do I mean by this? If it is not necessary to perform a regression or revisit the past to release anything, I will not perform regression hypnosis. As a general rule, a regression carries no risk, but it is true that revisiting the unconscious unnecessarily is not recommended, as it can awaken past emotions or bring hidden traumas from the subconscious to the surface that may be difficult to manage outside of the therapy session.

If I undergo hypnosis, will I remember everything?

As a general rule, people who enter hypnosis remember everything. Only a small percentage of people enter a deeper state (which the therapist cannot control) and do not remember what was worked on, but they feel great relief and feel better.

What if I don't wake up?

No one stays hypnotized forever. There is absolutely no risk of entering hypnosis and "not waking up."

Can everyone be hypnotized?

Everyone is suggestible enough to be hypnotized, provided they want to be. If the person does not want to be hypnotized, the hypnotherapist will not be able to hypnotize them. If someone comes to my practice to release their fears, traumas, phobias, etc., they must allow the therapist to do their work; otherwise, it is a waste of time and money.
