Naturopathy

What is naturopathy?

Naturopathy is essentially a combination of techniques, therapies, and/or knowledge of natural medicine. These studies include knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology, Phytotherapy, Orthomolecular Medicine, Bach Flowers, Dietetics and Nutrition, and other Holistic Therapies such as heliotherapy or geotherapy, among others.
Naturopathy is concerned with balancing the physical body when it is in a state of imbalance or illness, but it is also used to prevent organic imbalances before they appear.
For those unfamiliar with these techniques and therapies, I will briefly explain what they consist of and how each one is used.

Therapies:

Phytotherapy is the use of plants for therapeutic purposes to treat illnesses or preventively to prevent their onset or reduce their effects. Plants were the first medicine that humans learned to use to heal themselves; today, more and more laboratories are studying their active ingredients to understand the reason behind their healing properties.
Orthomolecular medicine is medicine that comes in the form of pills, tablets, vials, powders, sprays... It provides the nutrients necessary to rebalance our body in case of illness or deficiency, just as phytotherapy can be used preventively.
Bach Flowers is a vibrational therapy in the form of drops that, when ingested or applied to the skin, creates changes at a vibrational level (energetically and emotionally) in the person. It is used to treat the person holistically, not just at a physical level.
Dietetics and Nutrition The foundation of the human body is the provision of food, which is digested and broken down into nutrients. The good condition of the physical body depends partly on these nutrients. Providing a balanced diet helps reduce imbalances at a physical level.
Heliotherapy and Geotherapy is the use of the sun or the earth or clays to improve a person's health.
These and other therapies are what make up Naturopathy.
