Thyme Honey 490 g
It is produced from the nectar of thyme flowers (Thymus vulgaris; Thymus chriodorus). This honey has a dark color, a sweet flavor with distinct tart notes and occasionally salty notes, and a very intense, lingering aroma. Its characteristics vary depending on its composition, purity, and accompanying botanical species.
It promotes sleep, has antiseptic properties, and is recommended for preventing infectious diseases, both respiratory and digestive.
Production:
It is produced in the pre-coastal region of Catalonia, Lower Aragon, and Castile and León. It is harvested from mid-April to June.
Crystallization:
It crystallizes finely, becoming almost creamy and opaque white. Its texture can also be modified and made more liquid by heating it in a water bath at less than 40°C.
